exclusively for racing. X-Ring chain has 1.5 to 2 times greater wear resistance
than standard O-Ring chain. For offroad applications where an O-Ring chain is
preferred, D.I.D's 520VM X-Ring chain provides excellent low friction
performance. The 520MX chain has higher tensile strength for maximum performance
and is ideal for muddy conditions. 520ERT and 520ERM are used by the top factory
Supercross and Motocross Teams. D.I.D's exclusive DHA pin treatment is the
secret behind the superior performance of our 520ERT, 520ERM, 520ERV2 and all NZ
Series chains. DHA hi-tech pin treatment forms an extremely hard chromium
carbide layer on the pins surface while maintaining a soft inner core. DHA
treated pins have extreme impact strength while maintaining outstanding shock
absorption. DHA creates a chain with superior wear resistance, anti-oxidation
properties and performs well against invasion of hard foreign materials.
